What a day – a dream come true as we lit off the ridge atop Mt. Baldy where we joined up with two soaring ospreys. Nick, my instructor pilot said, “Let’s see what they do”.  It doesn’t need to be any better than that in my book…but flying solo with my wife Cheryl would do it. We are working toward it.

Back on the valley floor we finished up the day with ground handling drills, pushed in the Phoenix as fast as a tired instructor can run. It worked and we are now feeling the wing reacting to our input and keeping it overhead. Great instruction from the best. Thank you guys for being willing to adapt and share the sport you so love. This is freedom.
